Pleats, Scalloped, & Lace

The backbone of the name of my blog. Here are my favorite outfits in these three styles.

I came up with this name a couple of months ago when my husband and I were sitting at the kitchen table. I started telling him that I really wanted to start a fashion blog to show how to style outfits different ways that people may or may not have thought of doing. I said, “but I am not too sure of what to call it.” Back and forth for a couple hours we throw ideas and nothing really sounds catchy. We finally go in my closet to look at my clothes and he goes, “tell me what you see?” “How would you describe your fashion style?” “What do you want people to think of when they see your style?” I start looking at different skirts and dresses. “I see pleats, scalloped, and lace.” There it was, this would be a perfect name for my blog. We went to the computer, typed it in to make sure it wasn’t taken, now the rest is history.
