Hey everyone! We survived hopefully the first and last huge snow storm of 2016. I’ve been off work since Friday and go back today (Tuesday) and I have to admit I enjoyed “dolce far niente” which means in Italian the sweetness of doing nothing. If you have watched Eat, Pray, Love you might remember this sweet phrase. Anywho, I have loved being able to really put a lot of time and work on my blog because that was also one of my NY resolutions.
This sweater was a recent discovery from J. Crew and their amazing sale aka mark all sweaters down super low and then add additional 50% on them. With these kind of sales you will have the ultimate winter wardrobe for later on this year. I really love the colors in this sweater and the sequins which are a nice different touch instead of wearing a statement necklace.
The navy gingham button up underneath is an old favorite from J. Crew Factory. Similar option is found here.
I also planned on wearing this sweater with a pair of navy ankle pants to work and navy pumps.
The boots are from L.L. Bean and run large, I am a true size 8 and ordered a 7. Keep in mind they take FOREVER if you want to order them in this color. But once they get here they are so worth the wait.
