kate spade: hot pepper shorts

Hello, everyone! I hope you’re feeling haute, haute, haute! These kate spade pepper shorts are perfect for this weather that we are having. The shorts are part of their new June collection and I must say everything is a little spicy.

When I first saw these shorts, once again, I knew I had to make them part of my spring/summer wardrobe. Personally, I do feel these shorts run a size smaller than normal. I generally get a 00 in all kate spade dresses, skirts, and shorts and I was fine with the regular 0 in store.

What I love most about these is that they can be dressed up or down, t-shirt or blouse, heel or flat. I wore this outfit a few nights ago except I had the kate spade patent loafers on and I loved that outfit just the same.

The shorts are a 4.5″ inseam which is a little longer than I normally wear, but I think they still look great. They are also 100% silk so don’t make the mistake and throw these beauties in the wash!

Can you think of a more perfect bag to go with these shorts than the haute “takeout” bag??! I didn’t think so. This novelty bag is so fun and it can’t help but be a conversation starter.

In my opinion, this tee does run larger than normal so I would size down.
